Pond Water Hardness Calculator 🎏
- 1 min read
This tool is designed to calculate the amount of General Hardness (GH) and Carbonate Hardness (KH) needed to keep a pond at optimal levels. I highly recommend against anyone using it as, while it has some tweakable parameters, it’s very much designed with my dad’s Koi pond in mind.
The results will be calculated dynamically as you type in the input boxes below.
Parameters
Pond
Use the values you’ve measured from the pond.
New water
Default values are for tap water in South Wales.
Desired pond levels
The optimal GH/KH levels you want as the end result. You probably don’t want to change these.
Results
To reach your desired GH & KH, you need to add:
- NaNml GH (NaN scoops)
- NaNml KH (NaN scoops)
